GUDEBROD BRAIDS & DIAMOND WRAPS: This video shows how to use braid for the under wrap of a decorative wrap and how to tie off both ends of the braid under wrap without using thread. It shows how to use 3 different braids to create a diamond wrap on top of the under wrap. It shows many of the Gudebrod metallic (HT) and holographic (Electra) braids. It also shows a neat trick way of tying off the braids using thread.

WATERSLIDE DECAL APPLICATION: Filmed on the Global Rod, this video explains in detail how to get waterslide decals on your custom rods without a hitch. It fully explains the uses of both Micro Sol and Micro Set solutions and the role each plays in this. Waterslides were never easier!

NARROW TRIM BANDS: This video shows wrapping a guide from start to finish with 3 trim bands of several threads each. There are many, many ways of doing these and this video shows how to wrap over a thread and use it for a trim band and then wrap over the end of the thread again. This leaves a pretty uncluttered look to the final wrap with no threads overlapping one another and just the two buried threads under the main wrapping thread.

MARBLING PRIMER: This video shows many of the pigments used for marbling and explains the importance of different pigments and finishes in epoxy marbling. It shows in detail the author’s method of marbling as he rambles on and on…LOL!

FEATHER INLAYS: Shows applying feathers with color preserver. Discusses uses of Permagloss and varathane. 2 feathers are inlayed on top of one another and the video shows and explains how to re-lay the feather if the CP has dried. Explains trimming of the feathers and also how important picturing the final inlay in your mind is before starting. This video simplifies what many starting builders might consider something as being too complicated to try.
